Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting talent@staffordshire.gov.uk to remove emails submitted via Contact Us form. To remove your data from our newsletter subscription click the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of newsletter emails.

(d) We have a vital interest.

(e) We need it to perform a public task.

(f) We have a legitimate interest.

What we do with the information we have

We use the information that you have given us in order to send relevant news around career opportunities or contact you after an enquiry has been made.

We may share this information with Gov Delivery.

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored in WordPress and Modern Gov.

We keep emails until you unsubscribe from our mailing list. We will then dispose of your information by deleting all personal data from our database.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
